Digital Gateway to IP provides a seamless, dedicated connection to the Internet, utilizing available channels on the customer's channelized T-1 local access. It allows increased usage of their local access by providing multiple services over a single facility and the ability of designating multiple DS0 channels on the T-1 access for voice, data, and Internet.

Digital Gateway to IP service is divided into three levels:

Standard Service — This service is for customers who already have hardware required for Internet access (CPE). It provides:

• Dedicated bandwidth Internet connection via frame relay.
• Network and customer support

Enhanced Service — This service is for customers who need CPE for Internet access. It provides the same components as standard service plus:

• Drop and Insert (D&I) CSU/DSU or IMACS (Integrated Multiple Access Communications Server)
• Installation and maintenance

Premium Service — This service provides the same components as enhanced service, plus:

• Router at the customer's premises

The following Internet port speeds are available with Digital Gateway to IP:

• 64 Kbps
• 128 Kbps
• 256 Kbps
• 384 Kbps
• 512Kbps.
