Systek
Internet Multicast is an IP multicast-based
service enabling a single stream
of content to be broadcast simultaneously
to thousands of recipients.
Using
traditional "unicast"
technology, streaming content over
the Internet can be subject to bandwidth
limitations, since streamed content
is sent separately to each end user.
In this scenario, the streams consume
valuable IP bandwidth - and scalability
quickly becomes an issue.
Systek's
Internet Multicast allows a content
originator to upload a single stream
of data onto the Internet backbone,
where it is replicated as necessary
to quickly and more seamlessly reach
available end users. With this strategy,
even if the number of simultaneous
users varies between 100 or 1000,
or more, the original amount of
bandwidth remains constant.

- Customer
can deliver content to large audiences
- The
subscriber base has the ability
to grow indefinitely
- Sourcing
requirements of hardware, bandwidth
and costs remain stable.
- Increased
online reach, without additional
overhead expense
